Checkpoint WebUI http 404 error and htdocs directory missing

When trying to access the webui via a web browser  (https://server) I am getting an http 404 response. I have checked the /opt/CPuepm-R77/logs/apache_ssl.log and I can see the http 404 events being logged.

I have checked the /opt/CPuepm-R77/apache22/httpd.conf and I can see that "DocumentRoot" is commented out using a # which I guess means that these requests when things are working ok are being answered by a module or a redirection of some sort. Does the above make sense? Would you know how I can go about troubleshooting this?

Any help greatly appreciated.

MultiPortal arbitrates access to commonly accessed ports such as 80 and 443 to ensure they get to the right service daemon, please see:

sk87920: Troubleshooting the MultiPortal Daemon

Starting point would be command: mpclient list
