CPview Network Path view gone in 80.20

I was checking on a 6500 today and wanted to see how much traffic was handled by secureXL, in R77.30 and R80.10 the Advanced /Network/Path option shows this:

CPview Network Path.PNG

In R80.20 however this view is gone:

Cpview Adv Network.PNG

Will this view come back? As it really is a useful view that has now gone missing.

There are lots of other nice new views, so I do not really understand why this one was removed.

It's not there in R80.30 (EA) either.

Aren't the new 6500 and 6800 appliances running R80.30 out of the box?

Nope, they do not install a EA version of code on production machines.

I only assumed so due to the fact the datasheet numbers for the 6500 are based on R80.30 firmware.

For R80.20 you have a lot of flavors.

Like:

  • Vanilla R80.2
  • M.1 and M.2 for SmartCenter features
  • SP for some specific hardware
  • 3.x kernels for some other specific hardware

So you realy have to think hard to known what you need as image.

Looks like its functionality is also limited when used on Smart-1 525: the Hardware Health tab contains no data.

My understanding is this was removed due to the changes in SecureXL in R80.20.
We do plan to add it back in.
