Mates,
just found a bunch of 5600 HPP appliances in a customer network (running R80.40) which show a strange behaviour:
To make things worse, not all of the appliances behave this way. Some of them show power supplies as expected (up/up). Ipmi does not work on any of them but on all other (6000, 5200) appliances.
Any ideas? Are there any special images to install 5600 appliances?
Cheers,
Michael
I would contact TAC to look into this...
Thanks for replying. Actually, I thought so, too. But there was a small chance that this is a known issue and someone pops up with a "just set the chicken blood flag to zero and reboot" message... 😎
Yes, and sometimes it is just like that - only rather seldom 😎. Sounds like RMA...
Hm. It's not only one but several appliances facing similar issues. I have a strong feeling that RMA would not be the right approach. I'll try with a TAC case.
