Add 1470 gateway (R77.2) to Gaia (R80.10) over the internet
Hi,
I have Gaia(R80.10) which has one cluster ( Site A) having two 1470 appliances in my Office A.
Now we have office B in a different geographic location, would it be possible to add a new 1470 appliance as a gateway (R77.2) to Gaia (R80.10) over the internet to a new Cluster ( Site B)?
If yes, can you please help with an article or KB on how to achieve that?#

Are you clustering with an existing gateway at Site B?
Are you just deploying a standalone gateway at Site B?
Please explain your current situation in more detail.

It is a new site B and a new cluster.

So that means you're trying to add two gateways and create a new cluster, right?
Most of this is covered in the admin guide: Check Point 1400 Appliances Centrally Managed R77.20.85 Administration Guide

Before you create a cluster, you have to create the individual gateways that make up the cluster.
That should definitely be covered in the Admin guide.
For creating a cluster, refer to the ClusterXL section here: Next Generation Security Gateway R80.10 Guide
