Hello all,
I have an issue on freshly installed 15600, where this gateway does not detect the 2-port 40GbE module. The code release I am running is R77.30 Build 503.

Looking at the PCI devices, in fact we can see that Mellanox is presented.

When I ran the HW network giagnostic I could saw that it tests eth3-01 and eth3-02 with while test as passed. Seems to me like a driver issue at the moment.
This gateway was installed from

Any advice would be appreciated.
Just load the latest GA jumbo HFA and you should be good, these Mellanox cards are relatively new...

It seems that the mlx5_core is not loaded when looking at lsmod, perhaps it is related to 40 GbE fiber cards on 15000 / 23000 appliance stop working after installing Take 128 and above of R7...

Hi Tim,
Yes I can confirm that after installing the HF the module is visible.
Do we know what the exact cable type is required? ie 12 core type B or A?
sk126272 suggests MPO-12 type B.
Assuming 40GB SR?
correct 40GB SR (300m) the transceiver works in both revision B and C of the 2 port 40GB module. I would like to suggest the cable type is made clear in the actual accessories guide.
Security Appliance Accessories Guide (checkpoint.com)
and Thanks Chris.
