1. what is a   /fwtmp & /fwtmp/opt/fw1/cpeps 

2. what kind of information stored their.

/fwtmp is a temporary directory.
Nothing is permanently stored there but it is often used for working copies of downloaded items (policy, signatures, etc).

I think phoneboy is correct...from what I recall, there is really nothing permanently kept there.
