site not responding for 1500 appliance (Local): RemoteAccess VPN error from Endpoint Security Client

I am trying to setup remote access VPN for the first time. I have followed the instructions from the support centre and the administrative guide, but i am still not getting it. I setup a DDNS host name with no-ip.com, then configured the details on my appliance. When creating the a new site on the checkpoint Endpoint Security client, i entered the server address (Hostname on no-ip.com). I kept getting the error shown below:

Does anyone know what i am doing wrong? Kindly instruct.

What instructions did you follow?

At least on my unit, it appears the necessary configuration to support this is already there: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk103440 
To add a VPN site, the gateway must be reachable on port 443 by the client.
Some consumer ISPs filter inbound traffic to this port. 
Can you confirm with tcpdump traffic from the client is reaching the gateway?

What firmware are you using for your 1500? Also, what version of the VPN client are you using?

Is your 1500 gateway under a NAT device?

Does your no-ip DDNS host name resolve to your current IP address of your internet connection setup on the gateway?

There are many things we can check to diagnose this issue 🙂
