Transparent (Bridge mode) config

Hi Guys

I am looking to set up some 1800 series Gateways to protect the WAN on one of our sites.

There is currently 2 point to point ethernet circuits on different vlans presented into the site and we use OSPF on the Cisco switch for the routing.

As I do not want to impact any routing or change the design, would I be able to plug these circuits into the Checkpoint Firewall and then the firewall into the cisco switch in transparent mode?

We will have 2 firewalls on site in a cluster.

Would we need these links to go into another switch first so both firewalls can see each link?

cheers

sk122659 talks to a similar config on earlier SMB appliance models for your reference.

Suggest discussing it further with your local CP SE to clarify further with Solution Center/R&D as needed.
