Temporary connectivity loss

Hi,

Have any of you experienced situation where connectivity between different LAN networks is loss after (or during) high system load ?

That's 1470 with R77.20.87 Build 990173004.

I did some investigation and it does seem like under high system load cluster sync packets are being dropped and the cluster itself goes into a limbo state... hmm

Isn't it that cluster sync traffic is processed with top priority ?

Hi,

Embedded Gaia performance is different than Gaia OS. In Gaia OS if your system is under load and your affinity is not properly tunned you will probably have network issues.

I've saw many times clusters flapping due to high load since the cores associated to the sync interfaces were also taking care of other interfaces.

Cluster flapping is OK because there is usually no connectivity loss. In my case there is no cluster failover, just connectivity loss. And it never happened like that before.

I have temporarily increased fwha_dead_timeout_multiplier to see if it makes any difference.
