CheckMates Go:
Maestro Madness
Good morning. Within the locally managed web console of our 1575 are the reports for various items but at the moment, I am most interested in the bandwidth usage. In particular, I am hoping to retrieve historical usage from a specific time period from a previous month. Is there a method to achieve this?
Maybe with SNMP to monitor the device with external monitoring tool? Maybe you already have something like this in place. Think about Nagios/ Zabbix etc.
Or maybe Skyline from Check Point: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk178566
Support for: Check Point Quantum Spark R81.10.08 and higher

Checked Skyline but seems to quite the set of requirements to make this work with a Spark appliance. Am unfamiliar with Zabbix & Nagios at the moment and whether the information is gathers can be referred back to a month later but appears to be something that will fit directly into what we have. Thanks for the tip
The storage space on SMB appliances is limited, which means you won't get much in the way of historical data.
For that, you'll probably need to connect your device to Cloud Services so you can leverage Extended Monitoring (Logs and Monitoring > Status > Extended Monitoring).
Are there additional charges for this?
Not that I'm aware of.
Tried that but the request seems to be hanging out in lala land, gives me a status screen of "Request in process and is being evaluated." Not sure how long this will take.
Also had that once but it worked later on...
