For scheduling periodic reports on locally managed SMB's, you will need to register your gateway to Check Point Cloud Security Management Portal (SMP).
Once your gateway is connected to SMP, you can schedule [Daily, Weekly, Monthly] reports by configuring plans.

From 1500 series, The new 1500 series boxes now include a single SMP license per box so, license is included.

Note there is an limitation that you can't specify the exact time the reports are sent.
e.g: monthly report is sent on the 1st of each month, but a random time is configured.

Also you might want to check the following SK for details 🙂

This is available only when using cloud based management and usually happens on a daily, weekly and/or monthly basis - locally managed, you can generate reports whenever needed in WebGUI.

Hello All, Thank you for your replies. But, Cloud Services cannot be activated while Cluster is configured This is not possible in a cluster ?

Cluster with cloud services is available since R80.20.10 firmware (a.k.a SMP cluster management), but you will have to configure the cluster from SMP.

Thank you, indeed, this is in the release notes, I did not notice this.

Is it possible there is not much documentation available ? I'm searching in the SMP admin guide and the R80.20.10 admin guide.

If I understand this correctly, adding the gateway would mean breaking down the cluster, this is not ideal.

Breaking down the cluster sounds bad - but with SMB, the HA node gets nearly all config by sync with active node, so it is not comparable to breaking apart a cluster in Dashboard and thereby loosing the IF definitions...

Honestly: After reading all the emails again, i can only suggest to forget automatically emailed reports and do it proud and by hand 😎. If you care for a number of units and each customer should receive reports by email, SMP portal is a good tool.
