Running Check_Point_R80_20_10_CGE.iso on vmware workstioan

Hi,

I’m trying to run Check_Point_R80_20_10_CGE.iso in my VMware Workstation lab, but I’m having trouble configuring the interfaces.

When I run a standard R81.20 image on VMware, all added network interfaces appear correctly in the Gaia Portal. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with the SMB version — even though I add multiple interfaces to the VM, they don’t appear in either the GUI or the CLI.

Could you please advise how to make the additional interfaces visible or if there’s a specific configuration step required for SMB images?

On my VM i get LAN1, DMZ only

Any idea?

Before you boot it for the first time.

I assume you only had 2 to begin and have tried to add others later?

Did you add the interface before or after the VM was built?

That guide is really needed!:-)

Do you mean that i need to add interfaces when adding the machine to Vmware workstation?

I’ve now reinstalled the VM, and it works fine as you said. "Make sure to add the interface before the first run of the VM."
