R81.10.17 recommended date

We have random crashes with 15x0 series (centrally managed) and R81.10.17 release notes mention performance improvements for those 2GB RAM devices.

It's been out a few months now, any idea on when it will become recommended? We still run R81.10.10.2993 everywhere.

We are already using sk183153 - R81.10.17 for Quantum Spark Appliances without any issues.
I think it's safe to use this build as it's out for several months now and Check Point clearly states:
"Check Point's latest version for all Quantum Spark deployments is R81.10.17." even though sk179615 still refers to R81.10.10 as recommended build.

Hi Alex,

The recommended status can be tracked here, not aware of a specific ETA be will see what I can find out and revert.

Perhaps by now you are also familiar with the optimisation script:

https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk183290

Much of the script logic is incorporated into R81.10.17 as I understand.

@Danny As an image can go through revisions, we really prefer to use an image once recommended, like for GAIA JHF, as the same sk states "Fully tested but relatively new" which also puts some clients off. Also, to limit the number of maintenances.

@Chris_Atkinson The SK refers to SMP or locally managed, in our case they're Smart-1 on-premises/Cloud.
