Quantum Spark 1550 upgrade issue

After upgrade from version 81.10 to 81.10.07, after reboot I lose remote VPN connectivity with my appliance. Later, I have found that I have lost my configuration after upgrade.

 

When I connected to my appliance I had to pass First time configuration wizzard.

 

Luckily, I had a backup and I have done restore of configuration.

 

Critical issue !!!

What process did you use to perform the upgrade (GUI or USB) and have you reported the same to TAC for investigation?

Hello, I used a GUI upgrade process. I haven't reported to TAC for investigation.

You also should be able to return to the last firmware version including configuration.

We had exactly the same issue yesterday. I though it was because of a bad room temperature/humidity combo but apparently it is a more wide spread disaster.

we tried to replicate the Issue in QA, so far without success.

maybe it is related to specific configuration.

please open TAC case and ask for a Task.

you can also share your configuration/backup with us (amiray@checkpoint.com) so we can this specific configuration in QA.
