Quantum 1430 and 1600 as a DHCP server
Hello!
I want to use the quantum appliance as a DHCP server, but in some cases the firewall isn't the network gateway, so there is a Traffic Vlan btween the firewall and the switch which is the network gateway.
What I'd like to do is to configure in the switch(which is the network gateway) a DHCP relay sending the DHCP requests to the firewall. But the firewall DHCP configuration is only over the interface.
There is a way to do this?

Are you just looking in the WebUI?
You might be able to configure a different IP Pool on the CLI: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/SMB_R81.10.X/CLI/EN/Content/Topics/170119.htm?tocpath=Configuri...

Thanks for you answer!
I tried your suggestion, but when I tried enabling the DHCP server I got the message:
"Could not set interface dhcp-range-end: The IP address is outside the network's address range
Could not set interface dhcp-range-start: The IP address is outside the network's address range"

Guess the CLI also contains the same validation.
Maybe check with TAC, but I suspect this will require an RFE: https://help.checkpoint.com
