Hello experts,
How can i clear DHCP leases on 1600 SMB appliance?
Thanks
Still, this is the command:
You have to find the correct lease file, of course...
Here is the command to release WAN IP received from DHCP as a client:

Hello @G_W_Albrecht i tried the command referenced on the link above but did not worked. I did an ls -l and confirmed the file is different. I beleive the above command would worked on a regular Quantum Security Gateway. Also tried reaching out to TAC and did not helped. I did a work around configuring a static ip and disabled the dhcp server on the Local Network LAN SW on the SMB and worked. But how difficult is to have and option on the GUI or Mobile Watch Tower APP that can clear DHCP leases? Where can i share this idea if not been already contemplated?
Thanks!
Hey brother,
You can always submit RFE for that, but I am a bit surprised that watch tower app does not have that option...hm. I have an app on my iphone, so will try it later and see if there is a way to do this via the app.
Ok brother let me know if you find something!
For you my friend, no charge to check ; - )
Sorry man, I looked everywhere on the app, cant find option to clear dhcp leases anywhere...
WatchTower does not have the option and neither does WebGUI ! But dhclient works the same way with every Linux, for the switch, leases are kept here:
/var/dhclient.leases
Still, this is the command:
You have to find the correct lease file, of course...
Thanks!
