Checkpoint Bridge as a WAN interface

Hello all,

We have a SMB 1550 device and have setup 2 interfaces as bridge (br0). I am aware that on the bridge we may allocate an IP for management purposes. I was wondering if we could setup this br0 interface as a WAN (Internet) interface on the SMB.

e.g br0 has IP 10.7.28.5 and I want to add a default route towards 10.7.28.1

Regards

An IP is actually required for bridge interfaces on SMB appliances.
You can bridge the WAN interface and another interface (e.g. DMZ).
I've done this on a 750, which runs older code.

Unfortunately I am not given the capability to bridge both a WAN interface and another one.

Believe you have to delete the Internet connection.
Then you can create a bridge with the WAN interface and assign as an Internet connection.
