R82.20 GA SD-WAN SmartConsole

Hey Everyone,

I installed R82.20 GA in my lab and noticed that the SD-WAN feature is greyed out with a note indicating that it would be added in a future JHF release.

Can anyone shed light on this? I thought it would've been functional out of the box.

I think SD-WAN features in SmartConsole are still considered EA. The admin guide linked from the main SK has commands on how to enable it but please consider it for lab testing only. https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk185141

Yes, you're right. I installed SmartConsole EA and was able to enable SD-WAN on the GA gateway.

That is correct.

SD-WAN in SmartConsole (and fully on-prem) is in EA with the release of R82.20.

We are in final stages with it and plan to make it available as GA with one of the upcoming JHF releases for R82.20, so a major upgrade will not be needed to get it.

Stay tuned, it's coming soon.
