We are sharing an important update to the SD-WAN Cloud Management Portal that sets the stage for upcoming features and improved usability.
As part of our ongoing enhancements, we will be transitioning from the “Old” WAN Link Mapping approach to a new and improved version designed to streamline configuration and reduce repetitive tasks.
Who will be impacted? All SD-WAN customers
Will it require any manual reconfiguration by the SD-WAN admin? No, it is a UI change only
What’s Changing?
- Old Mapping: Required defining each Gateway individually, including all relevant interfaces and configuration details.
- New Mapping: Introduces a dedicated tab (replacing the previous pop-up window) that allows users to group Gateways with identical configurations.
- This simplifies the setup process and reduces manual effort.
- Users can still define Gateway-specific details where needed (depending on the Gateway version).
New UI with the new Wan link mapping tab highlighted:

This change is a foundational step toward enabling more advanced SD-WAN capabilities and improving operational efficiency across the board.
New Capabilities we will introduce shortly:
- Simplified bandwidth configuration per gateway
- Advanced Application-Based QoS for a more granular traffic control.
