Remote Access VPN License

Hello Mates,

Simply put, the Check Point Remote Access VPN license confuses me.

Here is my use case:

1. 2 Sites, A and B

2. Site A has a ClusterXL Aconsisting of 2 Check Point 9100 devices, and 1 SmartCenter devices (named C),

3. Site B has a ClusterXL  B consisting of 2 Check Point 6000 devices 

4. a site-to-site VPN is in place between Site A and Site B 

5. SmartCenter C is managing ClusterXL A and B

6. Site A has 20 users want to use remote access VPN

7. Site B has 5 users want to use remote access VPN

8. 25 Users are using this kind of vpn client ONLY

Question: What is the total number of licenses for remote access VPN required?

I know free one allows 5 users to connect, but believe next one would be 50, if Im not mistaken. I would double check with Account services. I think it goes 50, then 200, then unlimited, if I recall right.

 Did you mean one firewall 5 users, I totally have 20 free license？

You get 5 for free regardless.

For Remote Access clients for Win OS you need Harmony Licenses - The Access Control standalone package protects your endpoints through Firewall, Application Control, Endpoint Compliance and Remote Access (VPN). These are licensed per seat.

So, Do the 5 free licenses apply to my scenario?  If you access sk84560 - Check Point VPN License Guide,
you will see "Important: By default, a Security Gateway comes with a license for 5 users. You can attach a larger blade, if more users are required."

Also, is this remote access VPN license based only on the number of users, or is it related to the number of firewalls in use?

Mobile Access licenses are gateway centric, count concurrent users and enforced locally to that gateway.

Endpoint Security VPN is seat based and any gateway under the same management can leverage those to admit a permitted client.

The 5 free license is only for "Mobile Access licenses", right?
