Permanent vpn client connection
Hello,
We have installed checkpoint vpn client on a windows server 2012r2 using a pre-shared key.
This client is connecting to a checkpoint r77.30 appliance.
We need this connection to be permanent without any disconnections.
Is this possible?
Always-Connect is enabled, but it still disconnects after a while.

There is no such thing as a "permanent" VPN tunnel.
The IPsec specs require renegotiation of keys and the like after a period of time.
The only way to keep the tunnel up is to periodically initiate connectivity across the VPN at intervals lower than the key renegotiation intervals.
