Configuring automated client upgrades

In the admin guide, it states if the user does not upgrade when set to Ask user they'll be reminded a week later, but then says on each new connecton attempt. Is this a configurable parameter, if so, where can it be modified?

I believe it is only configurable when done as part of Endpoint.
I don’t believe this is an option for upgrading the standalone VPN clients.

Works fine otherwise, just trying figurure out the conflicting documentation. I'd prefer to notify once per day.

Where did you see in the documentation it said you could configure a reminder?
I believe that's only when managed as part of the larger Endpoint offering, not for standalone VPN clients.

I don't see in this doc that it's configurable. I do see;

A) the next reminder will be a week later.
B) the client sends a reminder on each new connection attempt.

What I was hoping for is a way to make B) work. Most our users only login once each day.
