Block Capsule VPN for Android

Hi,

due to company guidelines I have to prevent Android devices from connecting to our Gateway.

Gateway Currently Running R80.40

One solution is to disable it in Gateway Object -> VPN Clients -> Mobile Devices - iOS and Android client -> Capsule VPN / Connect

This prevents Android (YEAR!) but also iOS (BUUH!) from connecting.

Next Attempt was to play a bit with "cvpnd_settings"

-> Scroll to the end of:

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/R80.40/WebAdminGuides/EN/CP_R80.40_MobileAccess_AdminGuide/Cont...

Thought it would be a SMRT to make requirements to high for nowadays Androids

cvpnd_settings $CVPNDIR/conf/cvpnd.C set MobileAppAndroidMinRecommendedClientOSVersion 99.0

cvpnd_settings $CVPNDIR/conf/cvpnd.C set MobileAppAndroidMinRequiredClientOSVersion 99.0

cvpnd_settings $CVPNDIR/conf/cvpnd.C set MobileAppAndroidMinRecommendedClientAppVersion99.0

cvpnd_settings $CVPNDIR/conf/cvpnd.C set MobileAppAndroidMinRequiredClientAppVersion 99.0

Log story short: Did not work. (Is this cvpnd only for Capsule Workspace?)

Do you guys have any suggestions left?

Best regards

Sascha

Yeah, that's for Capsule Workspace, not for Capsule VPN.
Don't believe we have a way to differentiate between Android and iOS for Capsule VPN.
