R81.10 is now Check Point's default version widely recommended! 

Hi All

We are happy to announce that as of today, R81.10 Take 335 along with Jumbo hotfix Accumulator Take 30, is Check Point’s default version and it is considered as widely recommended for all deployments including Scalable Platforms (GA Take 338 with Jumbo hotfix Accumulator Take 30)

A simple process for installing Security Gateways and Management directly to the new default version (GA take 335 + JHF Take 30) is available in the CPUSE portal using Blink images. Those images can also be downloaded from sk175186

Be sure to check the new recommended way of installing jumbos on your Security Gateways and clusters from the Smart Console. For more information, see sk168597

R81.10 Jumbo HF Take #30 is now our GA take (replacing take 22) and is available for download to all via CPUSE (as recommended) and via sk175186.

Release Highlight:

 The Apache Log4j Java library is updated in order to harden the system.  Check Point products are not vulnerable to Log4j.This change is motivated by cyber hygiene best practices. For more information, refer to sk176865.

New: Starting from R80.40, Central Deployment allows you to perform a batch deployment of Hotfixes on your Security Gateways and clusters from SmartConsole!!
