Hey guys,

I wanted to share this, as I had this problem ages ago on Iphone 8 and funny enough, good customer of ours called me this weekend, he felt so bad even asking me this, but as soon as he described it, I clucked a little, cause it came to my mind right away : - )

If your wifi randomly disconnects for no reason on your iphone, MAKE SURE below setting is off, then it will work fine.

In IOS 26 i don't see a setting "WIFI assist". Just the good old "Ask to Join Networks" or "Auto-Join Hotspot" (if my translation from German is correct. The default for the former is ‘Notify’ and for the latter ‘Inform’. Here, too, I don't know the English version and have translated it.
I haven't seen anything like that under mobile communications either.

Its most likely only there for people who have older phones and keep upgrading.
