Cannot access to Web Application config on Mobile Access for Capsule Workspace

Hi Team,

Has anyone here ever configured and used the Capsule Workspace feature?
I’m currently setting up this feature as an alternative to VPN and have preconfigured internal applications as bookmarks. However, both on the Mobile Access Portal and the Capsule Workspace app on the phone, I still can’t connect to the internal web applications.
Some applications can load the web page, but when I try to log in, it just reloads the login page again. Other web apps can’t even load the login page at all.

Are both the Management and Gateway the same version per sk183252?

Note also "Capsule Workspace" is EOL since Dec 2024.

I did once and turned out to be rule issue.

I used Fiddler to check the connections, and all the responses returned 200 OK, but for some reason, the application still cannot be authenticated. It’s really puzzling has anyone successfully configured this on R82 yet?

Can you maybe try this?

 

  • In SmartConsole → Mobile Access → Applications → Web Applications → Edit App, enable:

    • “Rewrite internal links”

    • “Translate host names”

    • “Use Web Application SSO” (only if your internal app supports form-based login)

  • Under Advanced Settings → Cookies, try “Rewrite cookies domain” and “Rewrite cookies path”.

You can check my configured in attach image, In fact, I only configured it in a simple way, and as you can see, I can access the mobile access portal. However, the issue occurs at the login step for this web app. When I enter the authentication details, it redirects me back to the login page instead of taking me to the application page — meaning I’m unable to authenticate into the application.

It all looks right to me...did you open TAC case for it yet?

Yes, we opened TAC case, It’s probably been more than 20 days, but we still haven’t figured out where the problem is. 😢
