"Back in time" upgrade

Hello,

SMS Currently on R80.40 JHF 192 (December 2022).
I see latest JHF is 198 dated 19 July 2023.

Latest JHF 24 for R81.20 is dated 12 July 2023.

Maybe I'm splitting hairs but I wonder: should I update R80.40 to the latest JHF before upgrading to R81 (which would be kind of a back-in-time upgrade, see release dates above)

"Released on 19 July 2023 and declared as Recommended on DD MMM 2023"

So is it recommended or not?

It does make no sense at all to update R80.40 to the lates Jumbo as he will not survive the upgrade anyway 8)

Might be good to update to latest Deployment Agent build dependig on upgrade strategy - using CPUSE or manual migrate_server & fresh install.
