SmartView Web page lets you export csv - but you have to wait until the export file is ready on SMS/Logserver and you get a download button:

Hi

That pop up can sometimes take ages to pop up. Im talking 10 minutes

And, it only pops up for 10 Seconds so it is very easy to miss

Is this file stored, so that I can retrieve it from the SMS that Im connected to, should I miss it.

In fact, I would say that the pop up is rather annoying method.

You are absolutely correct @Gingerwerewolf , times do vary, for sure, at least from my experience. Let me test this in R82 lab and see if its any different.

Learned something new today, never knew where those files were stored, thank you @Gingerwerewolf 👍👌

Btw, I attached the file I got from the lab and it took literally 5 seconds to generate one for 24 hours. I tried 3 months time period and that took about 35 seconds, which makes sense, since its longer span, if you will.

OK abit of searching myself and I have answered my own question - however it is a bit hidden

So the csv files are generated and then zipped up in a subfolder of the following:

/opt/CPrt-R81.20/smartview/exported_files

however you need to go deeper, and that I assume is unique to both the SMS in question and the User

There is a folder in the above link that has a String of what looks like Hex in an 8-4-4-4-12 character length

Then inside that folder, there is another Folder (which I would assume is which username requested the csv) that folder is in a 8-4-4-4-13 character length

Then inside those folders are zip files and there are named with date and time stamps. These appear to be the files.

Hope this helps others

As Guenther said, you would need to wait until it shows you option to download it, thats basically it : - )
