Unable to delete a Virtual firewall object on 77.30 with the following error

hi all 

i am unable to delete virtual firewall object. When I click on delete it opens the attached window takes details and crashes the checkpoint client.

 

Please advice

If SmartConsole is crashing, you should probably open a TAC case so we can troubleshoot.

Some trivial stuff - install all DBs (on all relevant CMAs if running MDS), run SmartConsole as administrator if your regular user ID has less privileges. Get the latest version of the smart console of course 🙂

as all previous colleagues just mentioned make following steps then try again:

1. update SmartConsole
2. make sure that MDS is on the latest HFs, if not - alocate time for maintenance and make it recent and up2date if possible
3. make sure you're having appropiate priviledges to the MDS! that is usually a very common errror, not everyone should be able to edit objects 🙂

after all you should be good to go but the point number 1 seem the most important here.
