Maestro Madness
So I downloaded Check_Point_SmartConsole_R80_10_jumbo_HF_B056_Win.exe from Check Point web.
But my endpoint protection Trend Micro detected Ransomware threat from SmartSonsole while running to installation process.

So I have no idea for it. I did trust and installed SmartConsole on my PC.
Likely a false positive.
Yep. I think so.
Hi, SmartConsole contains static HTML files that describe some of the IPS Protections. The titles of these files are names of IPS Protections. As a result, super-traditional anti-virus software could find those files as malicious simply because they're named "SQL Injection.html" and such. We have seen these instances before.
You can send this to Trend Micro support. The other users no longer have this problem.
