Transferring files to a USB drive through the CLI

Can I transfer files to a USB drive via CLI on a virtual management server?

Assuming you can assign the raw USB drive to the VM in your virtualization environment, you should be able to mount the USB device and copy files to it using standard Linux CLI commands.
