SmartEvent Smartview Read-only access
I would like to give users web access to view the SmartEvent information. I have set up the users with read-only profiles and this works great for the logs. This issue is that all the other screens have "query failed" on all the panels of the General Overview, Access Control and Threat tabs.
I would like to just give read access but do not want to have all users install the client.
Thank you,
John Fulater

John,
does this work for other users with full access?
read-only profile is normally enough to see the mentioned tabs.
The error „query failed“ sounds like something is going wrong with your smartevent server.
Check your access to these tabs in SmartConsole with an user with all rights and then the same with your restricted user.
If this is working you can view the same via browser in smartview.

The users that "full " access all the fields show fine.
It is hard to determine which rights are for which screens (fields).
Thank you,
John
