SmartConsole can't connect to logging

This is a weird thing.

SmartCenter (R81 HFA T44)  is configured to use a different port. SmartConsole can get normal logs but all other views fail. As it turns out SmartConsole connects to port 443 instead of the changed port.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

After doing some crazy searches I stumbled into https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut... which is something to investigate.

Hi Hugo,

I don't have an answer for your issue (the SK you linked does look promising) - but as workaround how about connecting to web-based SmartView?

Hi Hugo,

After doing some digging, changing the port from CLISH using the 'set web ssl-port <port>' should also apply to SmartView

Did you change the port using the above method?

If not, which method did you use?
