Hi community, I need feedback on these questions :
1 Is it possible to manage fortigate logs on smart-1?
2 Is it possible to store the firewall check point logs on FortiAnalyzer?
Thanks yu .
I doubt it, since its totally 2 separate vendors, so dont believe would be compatible.
Does FortiAnalyzer take in syslog? If so, you can use Log Exporter to send syslog from Check Point to FortiAnalyzer, or other SIEM product of your choice. You have to do the field matching obviously.
You can enable "Accept Syslog Messages" in your Check Point log server properties and forward fortigate logs to the log server that way.
