Shared layer installation status in all policy packages

When I create a shared Layer and the original policy is cloned multiple times for modifications (not in the shared layer) and installations on specific gateways:

and if the shared layer changed, published and installed  in one of the policy packages, how can we determine that it is not yet applied and enforced to all other gateways in other policy packages?

You’d have to check the last policy install for all the various gateways and compare to when that particular layer was last modified.

Ouch!

I see definite need for better tracking of this feature.

I.e. indicator in the policy package on the shared layers that are still pending installation.

If you have 10+ policy packages with multiple shared layers, this may be difficult to track.

Better yet, once shared layer is modified as intended, option to install just that layer across all policies it is present in with corresponding progress indicators and log entries.

I believe it's in the longer-term plan to push just the layer. Agree that tracking this short-term could be improved.
