Share your insights on Smart Event’s Automatic Reactions – help us expand Infinity Playblocks

Hello CheckMates!

We are currently gathering insights on the most useful events in Smart Event’s automatic reactions. As part of our efforts to expand automations and playbooks in Infinity Playblocks, we want to better understand how you’re currently utilizing automatic reactions and identify any features that might be missing, which could be addressed by Infinity Playblocks.

Here’s what we’d love to learn from you:

  • Which events do you commonly use with Smart Event’s automatic reactions?
  • Have you encountered any missing events in the current options?
  • What improvements or new features would enhance your event detection experience?

Our goal is to integrate these events seamlessly into Infinity Playblocks, enabling more robust and customizable automations. In addition to standard event detection, Playblocks can enhance your current automatic reactions by offering more advanced options, such as opening tickets and blocking IPs. These capabilities allow for even more dynamic and proactive responses, adding greater value to your security environment.

Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to us and will play a key role in shaping the future of automations in Playblocks.
Looking forward to your insights! 🙂 Please feel free to send your feedback to talbb@checkpoint.com or Playblocks-feedback@checkpoint.com, or reach out if you'd like to schedule a meeting to discuss further.

Thanks
Tal

From event policy I think we can learn from the defaults on the product and defaults in the past to see what was considered to be common/important:

1. Any event that's activated on SmartEvent out of the box for clean install.

2. Events that are activated on R77.30 - when we moved to R80, focus changed on SmartEvent server from correlated events. This mostly means that if we install R77.30 SmartEvent we'll have much more events activated by default.

3. Under the legacy directory in the event policy we have specific blades.

Kind regards, Amir Senn
