Rule section fields missing in log in R80.20 Smart view tracker

Hi All,

 

We have a MLM installed in data centre with 23 CLM configured. 

Admin was checking logs through R80.20 Smart view tracker.

In log we see empty fields in Rule section.

R80.20 version is installed with hotfix take_87.

 PFA snapshot.

Whereas when we view logs in logs and monitor through smart console we can see rule number, rule name etc.

 

Kindly advise.

Try to do a install database on the MLM's.

Already performed install database but no luck. Still rule section show no output.

This could be related to SmartView Tracker itself which is no longer supported in R80.x 

This is stated in the R80.10 Release Notes:

  • The Logs tab of the SmartConsole Logs & Monitor view replaces SmartLog and SmartView Tracker. The Logs tab allows you to search through logs with simple and fast searches. Search results are fast and immediately show the log records.

Hi Tal,

Can you please check if in you environment R80.20 installed and you see same behavior. 

 

Whereas in 80.10 legacy smart view tracker i can see details in rule section.

This is probably because in R80.20 there were major changes in logging.

As I stated before, while thee executable for SmartView Tracker is still in the SmartConsole installation directory [CPlgv.exe] it is no longer supported. 

Today, the Logs view in SmartConsole and SmartView has so many advanced features and capabilities that I highly recommend using it.
