Remote upgrade of appliances to R80.10
Hi all.
I have a few appliances in remote offices that are on R77.30. What's method should I use to get them onto R80.10 that is least prone to failure?

Fully agree. If they are all the same type appliance, test one with more care and rest should follow

Agree CPUSE is the way to go, just make sure it is using the latest DAService version (Build 1439) before starting the R80.10 upgrade to maximize your chances of success. Upgrade of the DAService daemon will happen automatically if the gateway can reach the Internet, if it can't see sk92449: Check Point Upgrade Service Engine (CPUSE) - Gaia Deployment Agent to manually upgrade CPUSE/DAService via rpm first.
Also it never hurts to take a manual snapshot before commencing the upgrade, especially when crossing a major version boundary (i.e. R7X ->R8X).
