RAVPN CA issues R81

Hi Guys,

We have 2xSmart1 MDS in our setup, of which 1 is in production & other in UAT. Production setup has RAVPN with 2000 users having certificate based authentication & as i know the MDS is the CA for those RAVPN certificates.

Due to some upgrade issues we created a parallel setup with the UAT MDS & migrated database from production MDS to UAT MDS.

Both the MDS are having different IP address.

So in this case if I try to form a cluster on the new UAT MDS with the existing gateways then will the VPN CA be revoked???

or

what if we change the IP address of the UAT MDS to same as that of the production MDS & disconnect the production one from network, then the CA cert still be revoked or be valid??

What should we do in such case?

For VPN authentication, what matters is the Certificate Authority used, not the IP addresses,
Assuming you're talking about using the Internal CA for VPN certificates, each CMA has it's own ICA.

I do not understand the sentence: " if I try to form a cluster on the new UAT MDS with the existing gateways then will the VPN CA be revoked???"
Please clarify what you're asking.
