Hi All,
I am working with a customer who want to migrate their existing Smart-1 3150 Management running R80.10, onto virtual edition running HA on R80.40.
They will be managing around 64 gateways, the majority of which will also be migrated to virtual appliances.
The current management is responsible for all Policy Management, Endpoint Management and Logging/SmartEvent. Currently seeing around 2M events per day.
I have a few questions if I may:
- Is it recommended to split NPM/EPM and Logging/SmartEvent on their own dedicated VMs?
- If so, is it easier to keep NMP/EPM together or split when migrating?
- Are there any considerations they should be aware of?
- Any rough sizing recommendations?
