R80.30 SmartUpdate repository - There is insufficient disk space to complete the operation
I want to add a package to the repository on my SmartUpdate, however it says "There is insufficient disk space to complete the operation", deleted some older packages, but still same message.
Checked disk space on management server and all partitions have available space on them.
How do I fix this?
Where is the repository situated?

Final solution was to free up to 16Gb of free space on management's root partition, after that I was able to upload firmware to Repository.
Simulation in lab produced same results:
Root partition free space - less than 16Gb (varied form 3 to 15Gb of free space). Result - Insufficient space.
Root partition 16Gb free space - packages added, and even when free space drops below 16Gb of free space images can be uploaded.

SmartUpdate was never updated for R80.x and there are no plans to do so.
For packages in particular, SmartUpdate does not support CPUSE which has been how updates/patches have been made available for the last several years.
In R81, you can apply updates and licenses from SmartConsole directly.
The only other use case for SmartUpdate is updating license contracts on gateways offline.

Can you share solution how to update firmware of central managed SMB devices?
I was using SmartUpdate to upload SMB firmware to repository and to distribute it, also Smart Provisioning Profiles with Firmware update was used, but Smart Provisioning shows only images from SmartUpdate repository.

I would contact TAC to resolve this ! In sk170534, we learn that: Use of SmartConsole to perform a firmware upgrade is not supported in 1600/1800 appliances. So how will it be possible to handle many SMB peers ?

SmartUpdate downloads the file into this folder: /var/opt/CPsuite-R80.30/fw1/conf/SMC_Files/SU/
Then, it gets unpacked and is added to the repository in two parts:
/var/log/cpupgrade/suroot/CheckPoint#CPSG80#GaiaEmbedded#6.0#4#0#R77_990173083_20_CP1400/CP1400_6.0_4_0_-.tgz
/var/log/cpupgrade/suroot/CheckPoint#CPSG80#GaiaEmbedded#6.0#4#0#R77_990173083_20_CP1400/CP1400_6.0_4_0_-.img

Older SMB appliances running R77.x still can be updated this way, true.
Have you tried this?
https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...,
I presume we will have an alternative to update firmware on SMB appliances other than SmartUpdate.

I ran out of ideas, and will contact TAC. It seems I checked all the things with no luck.
Disk space - available enough disk space
Permissions on /var/log/cpupgrade/suroot and /var/opt/CPsuite-R80.30/fw1/conf/SMC_Files/SU/ - fine and writable
Delete old Items from repository and uploading them again from file or Download Center - still same error even on old (deleted from repository packages)
sk108621 - no luck
Clean removal of SmartConsole and install of R80.30 993000042 build, trying another computer with different SmartConsole version - same error
