R80.20.M2 Silent Install
Hello,
are there any silent install parameters for the SmartConsole.exe for R80.20.M2?
The old "smartconsole.exe -s" doesn't work anymore!
Regards
Stephan

First of all, I'm curious why you're using R80.20.M2 and not R80.30.
Second, did you actually extract the SmartConsole installer EXE (you should be able to decompress it like a ZIP file) and run SmartConsole.EXE -s from inside that extracted archive directory?
I did this with R80.30 and R80.20.M2, it worked entirely silently.
The procedure is documented here: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...

However, you also have the option of installing a portable SmartConsole as a ZIP file.

Hello PhoneBoy,
thank you for your answer. We have an automatic deployment in our Terminal Server Installation and i need the silent install for that.
In the meantime for are installing R80.20 for different reasons. And i find the following article about silent install:
https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...
But that also doesn't work. It always starts with the accept of the "End User License agreement".

Hi, how can I uninstall SmartConsole silently? I'm trying to create a SCCM application to allow user install and uninstall from Software Center.
If you can share the detection method would be awesome.
Regards.

UPDATE: this has been validated with SmartCosole R80.10, R80.20, R80.20M2, R80.30.
Download the SmartConsole R80.xx package and extract with 7Zip to a Temp folder. you will find a smartConsole.exe file. from Windows CMD run the command SmartConsole /s". the installation starts "Very Silent" which means no progress bar will display. this process will take a few minutes. you can nnonitor the process by opening Task manager.
