Policy Implicit Rules In MDS

Hey,

I'm trying to understand how the implicit rules are applied in the case of MDS global policy is assigned to a domain policy.

When a global policy is assigned to a local domain policy, the ordered layers are merged according to the PLACEHOLDER rule. So the global rules can come before the local rules, after the local rules, or both before and after.

So, where are the implicit rules applied? Are they applied to the merged layer no-matter where the global and local rules are located, so that they are a black box?

Thank you!

There are three types of settings for implied rules: First, Before Last, and Last. All your explicit rules: combination of both global and local rulebases are wrapped with those.

It looks like that:

----Implicit rules marked "First"

--All explicit rules: Global and Local, before the last one (can be global or local)

----Implicit rules marked "Before Last"

--Last explicit policy rule (local or global)

----Implicit rules maker "Last"

Mind, implied rules are defined on Domain level and not on Global one
