Migrating the Security Management Server
Good afternoon.
Our task was to move the R77.30 Security Management Server from one virtual machine to another. The actions were carried out according to sk91400.
In the Gaia Portal, we created a backup copy of the old server and moved it to the new server (the name and ip address are the same), added all the gateways and disabled the old server.
After that, problems began to be observed: every 2-3 minutes, access to the server disappears for 10-15 seconds, and then returns again. It is also not pinged at this time.
The restart of the Checkpoint services did not give anything.
The cpswd_admin list shows that all services are running.
Please tell me what the problem may be.

hey,
"problems began to be observed: every 2-3 minutes, access to the server disappears for 10-15 seconds, and then returns again. It is also not pinged at this time." - seems to me more like a network problem than an appliance problem.
Is the old VM shut - I had to ask as you never know 😊 - and secondly, if it's a VM, then go over VM console and keep an TCPDump on the Management box and see what is weird on the network.
