Migrating policy from R75.46 Gaia to R80.10 Smartcentre server

Migrate policy from R75.46 Gaia to R80.10

I need to migrate a policy from a R75.46 Smartcentre server to an existing R80.10 smartcentre server that runs 30 gateways.

Can you please let me know if i can import the objects.c and rules.c file using GuiDB edit or another way.

The management database formats between R75.4x and R80.10 are significantly different.

The most turnkey way I can think to do it would be something like:

1. Take a migrate export of your existing R75.46 SmartCenter using the R80.10 migration tools
2. Install a fresh R80.10 SmartCenter in a VM and migrate import the R75.46 configuration in it
3. Use a tool like Python tool for exporting/importing a policy package or parts of it‌ to export/import between the R80.10 installations
