I would like to see all the capabilities of Smartconsole in this (to be fair allot is there), for me, we don't see gateways when connected to Smart-1 Cloud web portal in the same way as SmartConsole.

I will check a few other thing, but I don't think you can create section heading either. 

Slightly off topic, I would like to see SmartConsole authentication updated so that is used the system internet settings to access the internet, and not open a browser.  I have noted this does not close the browser after so its not an elegant solution.
When selection cloud option in SmartConsole it should ideally either ask to use proxy settings or default to system.

At CPX Vegas I heard on more than one occasion that an internal goal is to reach full functional parity between the Windows SmartConsole GUI and the browser SmartConsole by the end of 2025.  Long way to go...

I'm sure one of the R&D people on this thread will correct me if I'm wrong, but we've, to-date, mostly focused on implemented things that have REST API support in Web SmartConsole.
R82 added a lot of API endpoints and I'm sure more will be added/changed in coming releases.

Having said that, for feature parity with SmartConsole, we have to support features that do nor currently nor are likely to have REST APIs developed for them.
For those features, new infrastructure will have to be developed.
This is the plan, as I understand it.

We are prioritizing the web SmartConsole development based on usage of features and their importance in common configuration flows. In addition, we listen closely to feedback from the field and often reshuffle priorities to add something that makes sense.

The effort and pace has greatly increased, and we are really excited about all the capabilities that will be added this year. Our goal is that most customers will be able to use the web version for their needs, even if the functional parity has not reached 100% yet.

It's also worth noting that indeed we need APIs to be able to write the new web UI. However, in most cases we are not waiting for a new version to add them. We are adding APIs in JHFs, so if you didn't see a certain new feature in web SmartConsole, you may need to update the JHF on the management server to make it visible.
