I'm just trying to licence a pair of new SC's manually (they currently don't have internet access) and one of the questions if ' Hardware Brand Name' and although there are options for hyper-V and and AWS there is no vmware option?
In this case is it best to use the hardware manufacturer of the tin vmware is running on or just select 'other hardware brand name'?
I assume that this drop down is mainly for checkpoint to gather information on the hardware that is been used by their customers?
It's been a long time since I have had to add licences manually, and just want to make sure I'm not causing any issues for myself down the line.
