Legacy policy to unified access policy
Hi everyone,
I have fresh Checkpoint firewall installation with Gaia R80.10 software version and I got warning message after policy installation when I changed Mobile Access policy source to Unified Access Policy.
Text of warning:
Status: Succeeded with Warnings
- R80.10 gateways cannot be included in the Mobile Access Legacy Policy when Mobile Access Unified Policy is the selected policy source.
To resolve: Either remove it from the Mobile Access Legacy Policy rules or change the Mobile Access Policy source to Legacy Policy.
I don’t have any rules in smashdashboard policy view.
How can I remove r80.10 gateway from Mobile Access Legacy Policy?

This is a bug whose fix will be published in the next Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.10 (R80_10_jumbo_hf) . The current available jumbo does not contain the fix just yet. If you don't want to wait for the next available jumbo hotfix, you can open a ticket and Check Point Support will be able to port this particular fix.

This is more of a https://community.checkpoint.com/community/management/policy-management?sr=search&searchId=46d8cae7-... question, so moving it to that space.

You mean your access policy is completely empty? just the cleanup?

I don't have any rules in mobile access policy rules.
I'd like to configure mobile access rules from smartconsole(unified access), not from smartdashboard(legacy policy).

hi mate,
if this is what you want you should follow below steps,
- In SmartConsole, Gateways & Servers, open a Mobile Access gateway object.
- From the tree, select Mobile Access.
- In the Policy Source area, select Unified Access Policy.
- Install policy.
hope , that helps
