Identity Agent SRV Record

Hi,

 

referencing https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/Identity_Awareness_Clients_Admin_Guide/Content/Topics-IA-Client...

 

Did anyone notice that CHECKPOINT_NAC_SERVER._tcp is not a valid record at all?

RFC states that SRV records start with "_", but they do not specify to use _ within the name itself.

Since my organisation is not using Windows as NS (where this config is obviously valid), i can't work with CHECKPOINT_NAC_SERVER.


Any suggestions?
We are using EfficientIP DDI / BIND

It's not clear this is a MUST, at least from the way I read the RFC.
In any case, you'll probably need to consult TAC here.
