How to ways a "migrate_server import" command on Checkpoint appliance R80.30 to R81.10

We want to know the detail how to use the migrate_server command.

We need to replace the Full-HA checkpoint appliances to distributed.
We want to get a configuration(policy and address object ) from exsiting R80.30 appliances on Full HA.
At first, we think to get the configuration using "migrate_server export command"  from the standby appliances. because we don't want to affect Production Environment.
We tried it. but we could not restore it on other appliance.

The below message was appeared.
“Before you import a secondary machine, you must first upgrade the primary machine and make sure it is up and running. Do you want to continue"
After enter "yes", We was waiting over 7 hours, but the restore could not be complete.

On Full-HA environment, do we need to get migrate_server export command on primary appliance?

If you know any other way, Please tell me about it.

Thanks for the all advice in advance.

Yes, you must run from the primary.
Your other option is to leverage the API to export/import the data, but that will likely require significantly more work.
